We kindly ask that each guest adhere to our policies, as they were formed with the idea that each guest deserves a truly desirable self care experience.  We look forward to enhancing your self care practice and invite you to reserve an appointment today.

before your appointment

At this time we are only servicing clients in person that are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.  When reserving your appointment, you will be prompted to provide details including personal information and/or proof of vaccination.  We value the security of your health information, so we take great care to comply with the requirements of the HIPAA Privacy Rules.

At the time of reservation, you are required to add a valid credit card and submit a deposit to submit your appointment request.  We request this information as our cancellation policy is that all cancellations or rescheduling requests must be completed a minimum of 24 hours before your reservation.  If you need to cancel/reschedule less than 24 hours in advance, the deposit submitted will be forfeited.

Our grace period is set at 15 minutes. Should you arrive later than this, we will make every effort to accommodate your full service. However, in certain situations, adjustments may be necessary, potentially involving a shortened duration of your experience. Alternatively, you have the option to submit a late fee penalty (15% of your service total) to retain the originally scheduled duration of your appointment. This policy is implemented to ensure fairness and optimal service for all our clients.

Before your reserved appointment, we request that you complete all required forms to guarantee your reservation.  We ask that each guest answer honestly and only request a service if you're healthy.​

at your appointment (Capitol Hill)

We respectfully request that you arrive just 5 minutes early for your reservation.  Before your arrival, your therapist is sanitizing and disinfecting your treatment room to prepare for your treatment.  We prefer to limit your time in high-touch areas such as the reception room.  Guests arriving more than 10 minutes late may be asked to reschedule and assessed a fee for late cancellation.

During times of high transmission of seasonal viruses, your therapist may request a brief health check including a no-touch temperature check and hand washing/sanitation prior to rendering service.  We support both our guests and therapists feeling confident that their health is a priority.​

at your appointment (Mobile Reservations)

  1. Punctuality: Please be ready for your scheduled appointment at the agreed-upon time. The therapist will arrive promptly to ensure you receive the full duration of your massage.

  2. Preparation: Ensure the designated massage area is clear and ready for the therapist upon their arrival. This includes providing enough space for the massage table and ensuring a quiet, comfortable environment. If you have pets, please ensure they are caged/crated.

  3. Communication: Inform the therapist about any changes to your health or preferences since the booking. Clear communication ensures a personalized and safe massage experience.

  4. Payment: Have payment ready at the beginning or end of the session, as per the agreed-upon arrangement. Payment methods should be discussed and confirmed in advance via your consultation form.

  5. Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide sufficient notice to avoid any cancellation fees. This allows the therapist to manage their schedule effectively.

  6. Comfort: Communicate your comfort level during the massage regarding pressure, temperature, or any specific areas you'd like the therapist to focus on or avoid.

  7. Disturbances: Minimize interruptions during the massage session. Turn off phones or set them to silent mode to ensure a peaceful and uninterrupted experience.

  8. Hygiene: Maintain good personal hygiene to enhance the comfort of both you and the therapist during the session.

  9. Feedback: Feel free to provide feedback after the session. Your input helps the therapist tailor future sessions to better meet your needs.

  10. Safety: If you have any concerns about safety or professionalism during the session, communicate them immediately with the therapist or contact the business directly.

 

These policies aim to create a smooth and enjoyable experience for both the client and the massage therapist. 

payment methods

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, Spa on the Hill gift cards, and some Health Savings Accounts.  Our therapists accept gratuities, cash is preferred.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for seasonal sales, gift cards, packages, promotions, and memberships.  If you are not satisfied with your experience, we ask that you email us at hi@arnettakyle.com so we can provide further assistance.

privacy & safety

  • Right to a Copy/Access or Portability: You may have the right to request, free of charge, a copy of the specific pieces of Personal Information that we have collected about you in a readily useable format that allows you to transmit this information to another entity without hindrance.

  • Right to Deletion: You may have the right to request deletion of your Personal Information that we have collected, subject to certain exemptions. Please note that we may need to retain certain information for record-keeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion (e.g., when you make a purchase or enter a promotion, you may not be able to change or delete the Personal Information provided until after the completion of such purchase or promotion). We may also retain residual information, such as records to document that your request has been fulfilled.

  • Right to Non-Discrimination: You may have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment on the basis of exercising your privacy rights under applicable law.​
